Getting to Know Bondage Enthusiasts in the Philippines

In line with my blog's goal to push bondage into mainstream Philippine culture, I'll be featuring bondage enthusiasts from around the country. Hopefully, their stories will strike a common chord with you and will help fuel your "tie me up" instincts.

The Anonymous Seeker shares a story of a lot of bondage practitioners on the Internet (I've read a LOT of stories in my day). As a kid, his interest was piqued by bad guys tying up girls in cartoons. And that as we say, is history. Now all grown up, he's taken an interest in various tie up positions like hogties and chair ties. Why? There's nothing quite as appealing as being in someone else's mercy when you're tied up. He's also developed a more exotic interest in the use of saran wrap for mummification.

In the past, he's shared his interest with a number of girls (the ones he likes). Whereas before, he was a little shy about telling them about his fetish, now he just tells them straight up. For future relationships, he says that bondage is not essential, but it would be a good bonus if his partner lets him tie her up. If he really had his way though, he would like to handcuff a girl hand and foot and then bury her vertically in the sand.

Finally, he believes that while the Philippines bondage scene is mostly still inside the closet, it has been gaining ground. He cites a past Playhouse magazine feature on bondage, although he laments the depiction of bondage as a mere fetish and the poor quality of the bondage in the pictures.
